Streets of Hope Charity
Streets of Hope Charity is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to helping the talibé (street children) of St. Louis, Senegal, by providing materials crucial for their well being. Our goal is to supply clothes and educational materials to the street children of St. Louis, Senegal, in summer 2009. Laura Checkley, of San Diego, California, created Streets of Hope Charity in October 2008 after her work with the talibé in St. Louis, Senegal, in summer 2008.
UPDATE! Thank you to everybody who has generously donated clothes and other items! We have collected 72 boxes and counting. Streets of Hope Charity has currently stopped collecting materials to send over to Senegal, but monetary donations are still greatly appreciated! Thank you to all who have helped make Streets of Hope Charity so successful.
